JV 1600m Time Trial History

In 2015, Wayzata began conducting a late-season 1600m time trial for the JV athletes to see their progress in a more measureable event, a 1600m time trial on the track. The time trial has been held over MEA weekend and during the week following the Lefty Wright Grade Level Championships. In 2016, 2 time trials were conducted, one over MEA and one during the week of the State Meet. In 2021, a second time trial was held the week of the State Meet for those that wanted a second opportunity. Additionally, 3 athletes ran a 3200m Time Trial that same afternoon. The coaching staff also drafted teams to create a bit of a team competition out of the event as well. Those results, along with every individual performance can be found in the All-Time Results document.
